ITV News at Ten has kept the name tonight despite going on the air at 10:30, I thought they would have called it just ITV News, I wonder why they kept the News at Ten name........

It's almost always kept that News at Ten name when airing late in the last few years - the only time it didn't was those few weeks they pushed it to 10.30pm to air The Nightly Show at 10pm (which predictably flopped). I don't think the generic version of the News at Ten titles has been used since.

A bit of a surprise to see Paul Brand anchor the News at Ten on a big setpiece day of news like today. 

It is quite imaginable that the main three anchors are all unavailable (Julie was on this morning, Rageh presumably having to focus on his international affairs brief, not sure about Tom), and with it being a politics/policy dominated news day, Paul was a good though surprising option to be called upon.

Quite surprised that with another set-piece political day, neither Julie or Tom (the main presenters) are presenting News at Ten tonight. It will be Rageh Omar tonight.

To be honest I think Rageh could be classed as a main presenter as he presents most weeks and has done since the 2015 Format started.
