The more I see of Nancy the more I’m impressed. She handled the vote very well.

The 10 coming from E too which means Huw can do “the Huw” for the first time in over a year.
Also the titles which feature a nice shot of BH. God I’ve missed this.

I was reading the live blog on the Commons vote on the BBC News website earlier, and happened to see the live feed switch seamlessly from the BBC News Channel to BBC Parliament coverage. One thing that jumped out immediately when switching between the two feeds was going from a big breaking news strap on the news channel that said something like ‘MPs debate partygate report’ to considered, two-line straps summarising what the debate was about and (I think) giving quotes from key speakers as they went along on the BBC Parliament feed. Considering BBC Parliament operates on a budget of around 25 pence, I was surprised at how bits of their coverage ended up superior to what was going out on the news channel feed (although on the whole the coverage from Westminster this evening has been very good).

I guess someone will have to bother to go up there to take it down. Have they got many people left to do that?
It was nice to see the dodgy VR hoop on the 6, completely misaligned to cover up the faulty hoop.

We may all joke about today's nostalgia-fest on the 6 & 10 - however, it is much preferred - seems more natural and less about finding artificial ways to present the news in a cold, clinical warehouse of a newsroom with fake flat studio E backdrops & harsh lighting.

The Europe HD feed I have access to used to have "EET, CET, GMT" on the promo trail boards:
However around two weeks ago I noticed my feed got switched to the Africa HD feed. The promo trail boards now show "EAT, CAT, GMT" instead. I thought this was just an issue with my provider since nobody else mentioned on this forum:
Can anyone with access to the Europe feed confirm this? Did the BBC axe the Europe feed and replaced it with the Africa feed?
EET/CET/GMT promos on the Hotbird feed (which is SD only).

Flicking between the HD feed on Astra and SD on Hotbird at 2326BST, Hotbird had the weather for Europe while Astra had the weather for Africa/Middle East. Different promos were then shown with one on Astra showing the EAT/CAT/GMT times. Both feeds then switched to Asia Business Report.

I’m still getting the Europe weather forecasts on my version of the World feed on Virgin Media cable in Ireland.
