Last night's Ireland match and today so far has again been world feed only jobs, though presentation looks likely again for Northern Ireland tonight. No matches on BoxNation any more (unlike the Nations League last year), with ViaPlay Xtra (formerly FreeSports) getting three matches aired, including Portugal tonight.
The amount of football across Viaplay this weekend means some of the URC rugby has been demoted to online only (Zebre v Cardiff tomorrow as an example is also on BBC Two Wales). I cannot recall that happening before in the UK, though some matches that were not shown live on eirSport in the previous contract.
Seems Viaplay have spent half their budget on fancy AR elements to their set
(PS, Is the same studio used occasionaly for the URC coverage? I can't picture it in my head but something feels different about it.)

I don't think there's any traces of the motif they've had running through all their themes since 2008.

BT Sport are just using the world feed today, but will have their regular pres and commentary team for Saturday and Sunday.

Relief for some at Channel 4 after it took seven matches into the current contract to see an England win.
Regardless the ratings have been decent since they moved over from C4, probably because so far they've been competitive fixtures rather than walkovers as often was the case with qualifiers on ITV. Indeed it may suit C4 for England to go into the forthcoming qualifier games with lesser nations with the result not being a foregone conclusion too.
P.S. Also notice Scotland v England is scheduled as a friendly in September - who would have the rights to this?

Indeed. 3.7m for last night is a fantastic figure for Channel 4. It certainly will help that England qualifying is not a forgeone conclusion this time.

The Channel 4 press release says that they have rights to all England matches this year. Not sure if Viaplay will also show the match as Scotland's broadcaster, that was the arrangement with Sky and ITV in recent meeting IIRC.

Yet we still await "official confirmation" from them regarding the acquisition of the IPL cricket rights (jointly with DAZN) and the FIFA Women's World Cup (jointly with BBC).
According to sources on another forum, Sky have seized the IPL rights (presumably gazumping DAZN/ITV in the process).
Obviously, we await "the official press release" to this effect...

Channel 5 coverage of the Seniors Darts Champion of Champions the exact same as the coverage of the World Seniors Championship on BBC and BT earlier in the year with Ray Stubbs and Bobby George presenting and Helen Chamberlain commentating, same graphics and cranes being used. Mixture of different commentators with Glen Durrant used yesterday as a co-comm and Mark Webster today. Although they missed 2 legs during an advert break at 10-10 in the semi final there so poor from 5
