Yes, Mark's leading the studio-based element at the moment - from a redressed The One Show studio:

The earlier caption suggested that they'd interrupted live programming, so I presume that they are.

As this will most likely be the case, it is clear to see why Piers would rather present on Fox (where millions of Americans will watch the funeral) rather than Talk TV (where the viewing figures will probably be in the thousands).(12-09-2022, 11:30 PM)Jon Wrote:You don't know that for sure, some people might watch it on Talk TV.(12-09-2022, 11:26 PM)eyeTV Wrote: Piers Morgan said tonight he would be co-anchoring the funeral for Fox. Previously BBC1’s coverage of the King in NI was extended, cancelling a 4pm BBC News bulletin.
But in a last minute change, they chose to move the coffin coverage up half an hour.

So how are the broadcasters sharing the responsibility for the coverage? I noticed a Sky News LiveU slate appear earlier on BBC News when a helicopter's feed went down.
Are they all 'teaming up' and working together, are the BBC coordinating it all - it must be a bit of a logistical nightmare.
Would be interesting to know.
